Applebee's Guests Raise Funds from Flapjacks for Pennsbury Gems 16U Softball on 2/11/2017Newtown, PA (February 11, 2017) — The Rose Group, franchisee of Applebee's restaurants in Eastern Pennsylvania; Mercer County, New Jersey; Greater Baltimore and the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Delaware, is proud to have helped Pennsbury Gems 16U Softball raise $1268 at a recent Flapjack Fundraiser at the Newtown Applebee's Neighborhood Grill and Bar. Pennsbury Gems 16U Softball describes the fundraiser as follows: "This fundraiser is to benefit the Pennsbury Gems 16U Fastpitch Softball team as they aim to compete in a national event scheduled for July 2017.".
"We are extremely pleased with the success from this Flapjack Fundraiser event," said Jeff Warden, President and CEO of the Rose Group. "Our associates had a wonderful time working with this group and we look forward to partnering with them again in the near future for their fundraising needs."
The Pennsbury Gems 16U Softball Flapjack Fundraiser was hosted on 2/11/2017. The organization sold 169 tickets. Breakfast included unlimited pancakes, sausages, milk, juice and coffee.
Applebee's is proud to partner with any local non-profit organization as a way to raise money for their cause. From ticket sales to event-day staff, the breakfasts are managed by the non-profit organization with the assistance of Applebee's employee volunteers. Breakfasts can be held on any available Saturday or Sunday morning, and cost the organization around $2.50 a meal. The Applebee's Flapjack Fundraisers represent the restaurant chain's latest efforts to remain active within its local neighborhood.
